About My Poems

For me poetry has been a more leisurely art form. I enjoy writing poems for fun, for experimenting, and, most of all, for the Stevens Poetry Club! Similar to the stories I write, I tend towards naturalistic themes. Sadly, many poems I’ve written have never made it onto my computer, but this page ought to represent an effort to record them more!

  • Annual Desires

    A poem about desires.

  • The Same Path, Once More

A poem about loss, how it comes, and sometimes does not stay. How it always stays in the end.

  • Cleaning the Hallway

    A poem about house work.

  • The Diving Board

A poem about time and distorted memories.

  • Harmony

Written for the theme “harmony” in friends writing group.

  • Egress

A reimagining of an old poem of the same title.

  • Brain Soup

    Written in a writing group.

  • Sowing What You Reap

    A poem admiring natural cycles.

  • Elixir of Life

Written for the theme “Ear of the cat” in a writing group.

  • Help!

A break form my usual style for a fun goofy poem.
