Posture of a Mother

Always leaning under the weight

Of children beared on broad hips.

A rear view mirror skewed too far

So the back seat is always in view.

Her home kept just so-

So, when they grow up and come back,

They still fit.

So, there is space on the couch for all,

Even if she has to squeeze between dogs.

So any guests that enter are reminded

Of their own; so they are welcomed in

To a mother’s- in to their home.
