Beneath the manhole covers.

In this world there is no man,

No one to catch the plague,

Or eat the pizza first.

Beneath the manhole covers,

The rats live forever and they love to live.

Their kings rule with love

And there is always enough.

There is a world beneath our feet

And as we walk from work to sleep

The rats relax then eat their fill.
